Bernie Ecclestone Biography

Born 28th October 1930 Suffolk, England, Bernard "Bernie" Ecclestone is the president and CEO of Formula One (F1) Formula One Management and Administration. It also has a healthy share of Alpha Prema, the parent company of Formula One.

This is why Ecclestone is often used as the primary authority in Formula 1 races. The popular press often addresses as "F1 Supremo". Ecclestone has also co-owner of Queens Park Rangers Football Club in its early years,Ecclestone was a competitor and race driver manager Stuart Lewis-Evans and Jochen Rindt.

At the end of World War II, Ecclestone went into self-employment, trade of spare parts for motorcycles. He then formed the Compton & Ecclestone motorcycle dealer with Fred Compton, and also in 500cc Formula 3000. It was limited to a few events, but had to give up racing all together after a serious accident in 1951 at Brands Hatch.

After the accidentEcclestone began a lucrative career in real estate and loan financing and managed the company weekend Car Auctions. Ecclestone to run again in 1957 and Managed Lewis-Evans and purchased the F1 Connaught team.
